Can I scuba dive if I can't swim? ???
According to the PADI standard. To obtain the PADI OWC certification, also known as the First License, you must be able to swim 200 meters without equipment or 300 meters with equipment, in addition to 10 minutes of survival float. Many instructors are very flexible with this standard in the OWC due to PADI's fundamental importance of teaching everyone regardless of disability. Also during the Open Water Diver (OWC) training process, you will mostly develop or refine the necessary basic swimming skills. However, later on, swimming becomes a crucial skill if you want to become an Advanced Diver, and even more so if you want to become a Rescue Diver.
